Qatar: Exxon Mobil is contemplating to sign an agreement with Qatar Petroleum for a new petrochemical project. The project is expected to comeup in Qatar. Exxon Mobil currently holds 12 LNG production units in Qatar and a Condensate Refinery.
For the past six months, EM has been evaluating about the formation of a JV with Qatar to tap the country's natural gas resources.
The products coming out of this petrochemical complex is expected to be targeted in Chinese markets as exports to China offers attactive value proposition.
