Methyl myristate is a colorless liquid or white waxy solid, insoluble in water, soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol, soluble in alcohol or ether, with like honey and iris-like aroma. Methyl myristate（Easechem） is tetradecanoic acid esterification with methanol derived. Myristic acid methyl ester used in the honey, coconut and other food flavors, and for daily use fragrance.
